Pre-retreat

Membership in the secret online Taking Flight group, moderated by Ruthie and including everyone going on the trip and those doing the courage and healing program.

Guidance through the Gentleness and Courage community of the Taking Flight Program, including videos with Ruthie & Nikki, worksheets, and practices to guide you.

One 30-minute coaching call with Ruthie before the trip.

 

During the Retreat

​

• Airport pickup/drop off from Golfito Airport

• 7 nights accommodation in rooms shared by 2-4 (double rooms available for $100 additional per person)

• 4 meals per day (early morning continental breakfast, mid-morning hot breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert)

• Unlimited coffee, tea, water, fresh juices

• 5 surf lessons/coaching including surfboard rental

• Video footage of your surfing

• Chocolate-making workshop

• Half-day horseback riding tour into the jungle and indigenous reserve with gorgeous views and wildlife spotting

• Guided-day hike with our onsite naturalist to see birds, sloths, and other land mammals

• Guided night hike to see nocturnal animals

• Girls’ night out dinner in town

• 6 awakening morning yoga classes in a gorgeous jungle-surrounded yoga space

• 4-5 (depending on event schedule) soothing evening yoga classes

• 2 Continuing Ed Credits available through Yoga Alliance for Yoga for Healing

• 2 Continuing Ed Credits available through Yoga Alliance for Yoga for Courage

$450  deposit due on sign-up. Remainder is due in two payments, negotiable timing according to your needs, but entire due 1 month before the trip..    The balance is due no later than 1 month out,  by December 26.  Of course, you can pay the remainder sooner if you want.

Cancellation policy for Surf with Amigas

If you cancel your trip more than 4 months out for any reason, your deposit will be refunded 100%.

If you cancel 3 months out for any reason, your deposit can either be transferred to a later retreat or refunded 50%.

If you cancel within 2 months of the retreat date, we cannot refund your deposit unless we are able to fill your spot either with a friend that you send us or someone on the waiting list.

If you cancel within 1 month and have agreed to pay in cash on arrival your balance is still due and you will be sent an invoice for that balance.
